Organized by BFSU and hosted by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, the program aims to provide in-depth insights into contemporary China's politics, economy, diplomacy, and culture through lectures, visits, and field trips. It seeks to foster regional cooperation, enhance strategic trust, and promote practical collaboration among Asian countries, helping participants become proactive advocates and facilitators of bilateral relations.

He Jing, director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Office at BFSU, highlighted that the program focuses on China's development, Asian cooperation, trade, and cultural exchanges, offering participants a comprehensive understanding of China's development philosophy and achievements, as well as the collaborative successes and experiences of Asian countries.

Song Qingrun, a professor from BFSU's School of Asian Studies, emphasized that cultural exchange is an essential "lubricant" for Asian development. He encouraged participants to engage in sincere dialogue and share insights during the program to strengthen friendships.

Lestari Puspitaningsih, the education and culture counselor at the Indonesian Embassy in China, representing the participants, stated that the program would build bridges of trust, facilitate deep dialogue, and enhance mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation, contributing constructively to regional development.

Following the opening ceremony, Chen Mingming, former Chinese ambassador to New Zealand and Sweden, delivered a lecture titled "Understanding China."
