China Mobile Dalian delivers first Mobile Cloud AI Workstation

China Mobile Dalian has launched the first national Mobile Cloud AI Workstation at Dalian's Sino-Tech Co, marking a significant advancement in computing power services for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

This initiative provides a cost-effective solution for digital transformation, integrating computing power with more precise services.

Sino-Tech, which is focused on steam energy products, is developing a "Feed Quality Management System" and requires stable local computing power for knowledge base training and data analysis. Traditional intelligent computing has been limited by its high cost and rapid technological iterations.

The Mobile Cloud AI Workstation addresses these issues with four core advantages: rapid model switching, lightweight deployment, local security, and comprehensive AI capabilities.

It eliminates the need for dedicated facilities or specialized teams, supports local data deployment, and ensures security and control. This solution enhances business efficiency, service quality, and operational benefits by supporting model fine-tuning and knowledge base development.

China Mobile Dalian plans to extend this model to industries like grain, oil, food processing, and pharmaceuticals, which need data analysis and predictive maintenance.

Collaborations with local universities will empower research and teaching, while coordination with government bodies aims to include the AI workstation in digital transformation recommendations for SMEs. This initiative, under a government-enterprise-mobile collaboration model, aims to popularize computing power and support the digital and intelligent upgrading of Dalian's SMEs.
