17th Dalian International Maritime Expo to be held in October

The China Dalian International Maritime Expo has received authoritative certification from the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), while the organizer of the event, Dalian Xinghai Convention and Exhibition Business Co, has also become a UFI member.
This milestone shows how the expo has joined the ranks of world-class professional exhibitions, consolidating Dalian's core position in the maritime exhibition field in Northeast Asia, and adding new momentum to Dalian establishing itself as a famous exhibition city in Northeast Asia.
The UFI is the only authoritative organization in the global exhibition industry, with a history of nearly 100 years. Its certification is known as the "golden signboard of the international exhibition industry".
The audit standards are strict, setting high-standard thresholds for exhibition scale, degree of internationalization, industry influence, and operational standardization. Among tens of thousands of exhibitions in China, only about 100 have obtained UFI certification.
This dual recognition represents a high degree of approval from the global exhibition industry for the expo’s organizational strength as well as the international operation level of the Dalian International Maritime Expo.
The Dalian International Maritime Expo was founded in 1992. After more than 30 years of deep cultivation and development, it has grown into a leading maritime industry event in Northeast Asia in terms of scale, professional prominence, and far-reaching influence, and has won a number of national and provincial exhibition awards.
Relying on Dalian's geographical location and maritime industry advantages, the expo focuses on the entire industrial chain including shipbuilding, offshore engineering equipment, port shipping and logistics, building an important platform for domestic and international economic and trade docking, technical exchange, and resource sharing.
It has become a key link connecting domestic and international maritime markets, continuously promoting the coordinated development of the maritime industry in Northeast Asia.
The 17th China Dalian International Maritime Expo will be held from Oct 28 to 30. It will take place at Dalian World Expo Plaza, focusing on the green, low-carbon and intelligent transformation of the maritime industry.
It will cover an exhibition area of 28,000 square meters, set up 1,200 standard booths, and be divided into 10 special exhibition areas, comprehensively displaying cutting-edge technologies, equipment products, and innovative achievements in the maritime field.
During the expo, more than 20 high-end forums, special seminars, and business matchmaking activities will be held, covering fields such as offshore engineering equipment, ship accessory innovation, shipping finance, international business cooperation, and talent exchange, gathering industry experts, corporate elites, and professional buyers.
