A peek into underwater robot engineering research center in NE China's Dalian

Liaoning Underwater Robot Engineering Research Center, located at Dalian Maritime University in Dalian, was officially established in November 2020.

Aligning with major national needs such as the development of marine ranching and marine resources, the center focuses on research of seafood fishing, seabed ecological environment exploration, etc.

The center has undertaken more than 40 national-level projects and has so far independently developed over ten generations of underwater robot products. Many of its research results have been widely used in fields ranging from seafood fishing, submarine cable inspection to offshore platform dismantling, alongside marine environmental exploration.（Source: Xinhua）
