Inner Mongolia Jungar Economic Development Zone

The Inner Mongolia Jungar Economic Development Zone is a top-tier development zone in the region that focuses on energy, chemicals, resource utilization, non-metallic materials, and emerging industries. The zone has attracted 70 enterprises, including Tianzhijiao Kaolin Clay, a recognized China Export Product Brand, Highland Almond Beverage, a national high-tech enterprise and leader in the forestry industry and agricultural processing, and Jiahui New Materials, a national high-tech enterprise. 

1. Jungar Industrial Park

Established in 1999, Jungar Industrial Park has a planned area of 16.2 square kilometers, with 12.1 square kilometers completed by the end of 2021. It has attracted an investment of 34.25 billion yuan and focuses on inorganic non-metallic materials and the comprehensive utilization of low-ranked coal.

Notable achievements in the park include the production of ceramics, including 56 million daily-use and gift ceramics, 10 million square meters of architectural ceramics, and 42 million ceramic wine bottles. It has also produced 50 million glass wine bottles, 176,000 tons of refractory materials, 74,000 tons of grinding materials, 300,000 tons of calcined kaolin clay, 900,000 weight boxes of rolled glass, 1,500 tons of electronic-grade silane, and various other products.

The industrial chain in the park encompasses inorganic non-metallic materials, emerging industries, resource utilization, agricultural and sideline product processing, intelligent equipment manufacturing, and production services.

The park aims to become a demonstration zone for inorganic non-metallic materials and a ceramic production town, focusing on the development of inorganic non-metallic materials and emerging industries.

Dalu Industrial Park

2. Dalu Industrial Park

Dalu Industrial Park was established in 2012 and has a planned area of 58.68 square kilometers. It has attracted an investment of 93.61 billion yuan and focuses on the energy and chemical industries as well as comprehensive resource utilization.

The park has a developed coal chemical production capacity, including coal-to-liquid fuel, coal-to-methanol, polyolefin, synthetic ammonia, urea, dimethyl ether, stable light hydrocarbons, ethylene glycol, polyaluminium chloride, chlorinated hydrocarbons, refined wax, calcium ammonium nitrate, UAV liquid fertilizer, rubber, and adhesive additives. It has also established production capacity for polysilicon, catalysts, thermal power, and pressure vessels.

The park has built a coal chemical industry and downstream fine chemical industry chain, focusing on coal-to-liquid fuel, coal-to-methanol, dimethyl ether, methanol-to-olefin, coal-to-ethylene glycol, and coal-electricity-aluminum.

The park aims to become a demonstration zone for the integrated development of high-end chemicals and new energy, with a focus on new chemical materials, high-end chemicals, resource utilization, and new energy industries.
