In 2006, the Ordos Wedding Ceremony is on the list of the first group of the National Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection. It integrates local customs, cuisine, attire, and entertainment, encompassing rituals like the Hada betrothal, fetching the bride with a bow, welcoming the groom, the poignant farewell between mother and daughter, and a celebratory feast.
