The "Warm City, New Meaning, Enjoying the Future" 2024 Ordos New Energy Vehicle Summit and Urban IP Launch Conference was held on July 19 in Ordos, North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region.

During the event, the IP of the city's Kangbashi district – the Super Large-scale New Energy Vehicle Exhibition and Sales Center in Northwest China – was officially launched.

Experts in the new energy sector and representatives from automotive companies shared their insights into the development trends, technological innovations, and market prospects of new energy vehicles.

From July 19 to 21, the summit revolved around the "New Energy Vehicle Exhibition and Sales Center" in three main venues: Ulanmulun Lake District, Baikangqiao Lawn, and the Sunken Square. It featured exciting events such as music fountain performances, lawn concerts, thematic electronic music festivals, and static car exhibitions, thoroughly showcasing the unique charm of the "Super Large-scale New Energy Vehicle Exhibition and Sales Center in Northwest China".

The exhibition and sales center covers a total area of 75,000 square meters, hosting 24 leading new energy vehicle brands including BYD, NIO, Li Auto, and XPeng. It has sold over 11,000 various types of new energy vehicles, with transactions exceeding 2.4 billion yuan ($331.20 million).

Concurrently, as a key participant in the national pilot project on integrated vehicle-road-cloud systems for intelligent connected vehicles, Kangbashi district has seized the opportunity by fully initiating Phase II of the exhibition and sales center and the development of integrated vehicle-road-cloud applications. This marks a significant step towards the integrated development of new energy vehicles, smart transportation, and smart cities in Northwest China.

Next, Kangbashi district will continue to make efforts such as bringing new energy vehicles to rural areas, facilitating old vehicle replacements, and implementing policy subsidies. These efforts are aimed at building an integrated ecosystem for the new energy vehicle industry that combines smart connectivity with sales and service and will enable consumers to experience cutting-edge new energy vehicle technologies as well as enjoy comprehensive, high-quality vehicle purchases and after-sales services.
