On Sept 22, the specialty dairy processing project of Inner Mongolia Mengyite Dairy Co started construction in Ejin Horoo Town, Ejin Horoo Banner, Ordos.

The project covers 70 mu (4.67 hectares) and has received a total investment of approximately 300 million yuan ($42.79 million). It will strive to create a local specialty dairy brand by establishing a standardized system that integrates dairy animal husbandry, forage planting, production and processing, operation, and sales.

The commencement of this project strongly supports the comprehensive acceleration of rural vitalization in Ejin Horoo Banner. It plays a critical role in extending the industrial chain, expanding the industrial scale, and increasing the income of local farmers and herdsmen.
