Coal conversion contributes to industrial upgrading

Inner Mongolia Jiutai New Materials Technology Co, an Ordos-based company, has recently entered a peak production and sales season. An automated packaging assembly line continuously conveys bags of polyolefin products to the packaging warehouse, where they are sent to market.

As a "High-tech Enterprise" in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, Jiutai New Materials has continuously increased its investment in technology for the coal conversion process.

Thriving on coal but not limited to it, the company uses coal as raw material and, through continuous research and development, has achieved coal conversion, transforming the material into various products such as beverage bottles, tableware, spectacle frames, and clothing.

To significantly enhance the added value of its products, the company has developed and applied advanced technologies to process and convert coal resources at a deeper level. This produces raw chemical materials such as olefins and aromatics, as well as clean-energy liquid hydrogen.

This has effectively filled the market demand gap and optimized the regional industrial structure. The company currently holds 293 various patents.
