The Ordos High-Tech Zone has disbursed 7.31 million yuan ($1.04 million) in rewards and subsidies to high-tech enterprises, autonomous region-level R&D platforms, and city-level talent approved in 2023.
This initiative aims to encourage tech-driven companies to enhance quality and efficiency in high-tech development, the creation of R&D platforms, and talent recruitment, injecting strong momentum into the zone's technological innovation.
The disbursement covered 49 innovation entities, marking a 52 percent increase in support funds compared to the previous year. Among the recipients, 19 high-tech enterprises received 1.55 million yuan, 18 autonomous region-level R&D platforms received 5.4 million yuan, and 12 city-level talents received 360,000 yuan. To date, the high-tech zone has allocated a total of 35.72 million yuan in policy incentives for innovation.
The zone now hosts over 95 certified high-tech enterprises and has registered 168 tech-based small and medium-sized enterprises. It has established 76 autonomous region-level research institutions and attracted 3,600 innovation and entrepreneurship talents, 20 high-level talent teams, and 21 nationally recognized top-tier talents.
The high-tech zone is rapidly forming a favorable "dual drive" model of policy support and technological innovation, injecting strong momentum into the region's high-quality development.
