A signing ceremony for the Regional Cell Preparation Center (Tissue Bank) and Application Project was held in Ordos High-Tech Zone on Jan 5. This project aims to establish a full-chain industry system in the field of cell therapy. It will supply standardized cell products to local and surrounding medical institutions, enhancing healthcare services for the community.
With a total investment of 103 million yuan ($1.74 million), the project focuses on the research and industrial application of stem cell and immune cell technologies. It includes the construction of the Regional Cell Preparation Center (Tissue Bank), a life sciences education base, and a precision medicine health management center. The project is expected to commence operations in October 2026.
