Focusing on the entire dairy industry chain, Ordos city has issued "Several Policy Measures for Advancing High-Quality Development of Ordos' Dairy Industry" to further optimize the industry's support policy framework and enhance its core competitiveness.
These measures cover six key areas and 18 specific actions: supporting the development of a superior breeding system; fostering the construction of a green and organic smart milk base; enhancing dairy processing capabilities; strengthening brand building and market expansion; reinforcing technological innovation and resource assurance; and implementing protective measures.
According to the document, Ordos prioritizes breakthroughs in key technologies, new product development, and the adoption of advanced, suitable technological achievements in the dairy sector. Key support areas include superior dairy cattle breeding, efficient and healthy farming, disease prevention and control, feed nutrition, and the research and application of digital and intelligent technologies in the dairy industry.
Ordos will promote the coordinated development of regional public, corporate, and specialty brands. Businesses are encouraged to obtain certifications such as the "Inner Mongolian Label" and national famous, special, and new agricultural products. Additionally, enterprises are urged to engage in brand promotion activities in domestic and international markets to enhance brand awareness, market share, and value.
To ensure effective implementation of these measures, necessary funding will be secured through city-level budget allocations, supplemented by relevant funds from higher-level and municipal departments. Performance evaluations and assessments will be conducted to ensure the measures are effectively implemented and achieve their intended results.
