It is an honour to have this opportunity to speak with you today.

本次乌镇峰会探讨的主题对全球的政府和组织机构都至关重要，那就是：共建网络世界 共创数字未来。

This summit addresses a critical topic for organizations and governments worldwide:

Creating a shared digital future together.

在与政府领导人、客户以及消费者的交流中，我清楚地认识到所有公司都面临三大基本挑战：

From many conversations I have had with customers, government leaders, and consumers alike, it is clear to me that companies face three fundamental challenges: 

首先，产业正在经历前所未有的快速变化。

First, industries are changing faster than ever. 

企业需要快速灵活地应对这些变化。

And companies need to move quickly and with agility to respond to these changes. 

其次，全球供应链持续中断。

Second, our global supply chains are being disrupted. 

在过去十年中，供应链的许多环节都被外包，这使供应链变得更加复杂，也更加脆弱。

Over the last decade, many parts of the supply chains have been outsourced. They have grown more complex and more vulnerable.

全球75% 的企业面临供应链中断。

75 percent of all companies worldwide face supply chain disruptions. 

今天，企业比以往任何时候都需要更准确地预测风险，并实时管理需求和供应。

Today, more than ever, companies must anticipate risk and manage demand and supply in real-time. 

第三，我们必须通过提高透明度来推进可持续发展。

Third, we cannot act on sustainability without transparency. 

客户希望从可持续发展的企业购买产品；员工希望为可持续发展的企业工作；投资者希望给可持续发展的企业投资。

Customers, employees, and investors want to buy from, work for, and invest in the enterprises that run sustainably. 

可持续发展已经成为企业的当务之急。

Sustainability has become a business imperative.

可持续发展的绿色指标已经与营收和利润指标同等重要。

And the green line has become as important as the top and the bottom line.

但企业的管理者缺乏实现可持续发展所需的端到端的透明度。

But business leaders are lacking the end-to-end transparency to take needed action.

如果没有透明的数据和指标，我们无法实现可持续发展的目标。

Because you cannot manage what you cannot measure.

我们面临的挑战前所未有之多、前所未有之重。

Never have our challenges been this many, or so great. 

但同时我也坚信，我们的机遇也是前所未有之大。

But I am convinced that our opportunities have never been greater.

可持续发展为我们提供了一个独特的机会，可以为子孙后代创造持久的、积极的影响。

Sustainability presents a unique opportunity for us to create a lasting, positive impact for future generations.

At SAP, we want to contribute to a future that looks greener and cleaner than the world we all live in today. 

而技术在这里发挥着举足轻重的作用。

And technology plays a major role here.

That is why sustainability is at the core of our strategy at SAP, both in our own operations and in our solution portfolio.

What is clear, though: No government, society, or business will be able to tackle the challenges of our time alone.

Sustainability is a team sport.

This requires policymakers and leaders of the global business community to work together.

Business networks enable companies to access and share data beyond their four walls.

Because companies are only as sustainable as their ecosystems.

That is why we are building the SAP Business Network, the largest B2B network in the cloud.

In this time, we have been on an incredible journey along with our over 16,000 customers to enable their digital transformation and help them better integrate into the global value chain.

China is and will continue to be one of the world’s key growth markets and drivers of innovation.  

今年6月，我们在中国推出了“可持续发展与实践战略联盟”等项目，我们对这些项目在进一步支持可持续增长的贡献充满期待。

We are excited about what we can achieve together with projects such as the “Sustainability Alliance” which we announced in June to further support sustainable growth.
