Li Hui, senior regional director (Greater China) at Times Higher Education (THE), and Wang Ruohang, strategic planning manager (Greater China), visited Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) on Jan 7.

During the meeting, Jia Wenjian, BFSU's president and deputy secretary of the CPC BFSU Committee, highlighted the university's achievements in talent cultivation and discipline development.

Jia praised THE's contributions to promoting global exchange of educational resources and academic collaborations, noting that the THE World University Rankings enhance the international reputation of distinctive universities.

Li Hui acknowledged the academic reputation of BFSU and explained the operational mechanisms and specific indicators of the THE World University Rankings and the World University Impact Rankings.

Li also discussed the institution's role in global higher education policy, think tank development, and global summits, encouraging BFSU's active participation.

Staff members from relevant offices, including International Exchange and Cooperation and the Graduate School at BFSU, attended the event.
