Dalian Zhoushuizi Intl Airport enhances port services for 2026 Summer Davos

Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport fully implemented high-quality service measures to ensure the smooth hosting of the 2026 Summer Davos Forum on June 4.

The new "dual pre-check" mode for luggage inspection streamlines customs clearance. Carry-on luggage is inspected during health quarantine, while checked luggage is cleared during transfer, allowing guests to avoid additional queues. This approach offers a way of passage without waiting clearance, enhancing efficiency. Eight self-service entry declaration devices supporting 21 languages have been added, cutting individual processing time to under one minute. Declaration efficiency is expected to improve by over 50 percent.

The airport has deployed mobile border inspection vehicles for on-site processing and formed specialized teams, conducting extensive training and drills. More than 200 personnel were selected to ensure reception standards and full-scenario English communication. VIP services include dedicated check-in counters, priority security channels, and exclusive vehicle areas for attendees. Six hardware upgrades and beautification projects are underway to create a welcoming atmosphere.
