International Journal of Anthropology and Ethnology is an open access, peer-reviewed electronic journal managed by the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and sponsored by the Institute of Ethnology and Anthropology, CASS, published by Springer Nature. This journal is committed to building a platform for dialogue between Chinese and foreign academic communities, promoting the cutting-edge and outstanding research results of Chinese anthropology and ethnology to the international academic community, and providing an academic platform for scholars from various countries in this field to carry out academic exchanges.

IJAE's submission areas include anthropology, ethnology, ethnic issues (including ethnic policies and practices), as well as related interdisciplinary English research papers and academic reviews, including theoretical research, ethnography, case studies, research reviews, academic interviews, conference summaries, book reviews, and other article types.
