World Review of Political Economy

World Review of Political Economy (WRPE) is a quarterly English journal jointly sponsored by the Academy of Marxism of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the World Association for Political Economy. It is published by Pluto Press, a renowned left-wing publishing house in the UK. WRPE is globally distributed and indexed by prestigious databases such as JSTOR and EBSCO.

It is a peer-reviewed journal, with professors Cheng Enfu (China), David Kotz (USA), Hiroshi Nishi (Japan), and Claude Delaunay (France) serving as editor-in-chief and deputy editors. The editorial board consists of 23 economists from 17 countries.

WRPE mainly publishes papers, debates, book reviews, academic updates, and introductions to Marxist economists in the field of Marxist political economy theory and policy research. Its aim is to unite Marxist economists from around the world and utilize Marxist economic theory to analyze and solve contemporary socio-economic problems faced by humanity. The journal strives to expand the influence of modern Marxist economics in academic activities, public policy discussions, and other fields.
