The International Critical Thought is jointly organized by the Academic Division of Marxist Studies and the Academy of Marxism, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), under the supervision of the CASS. It is an English quarterly magazine that comprehensively studies, communicates, and promotes Marxism, published and distributed globally by Routledge, a subsidiary of the renowned Taylor & Francis Group in the UK.
Founded in 2011, it aims to respond to the call of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, promote the internationalization of Chinese Marxist academia, enhance its global influence, and create a world-class Marxist academic journal. The International Thought Review has now become an important academic platform for the internationalization of Marxism with Chinese characteristics and for communication within the Marxist and left-wing academic camps worldwide.
It is also a vanguard position for dialogue with other academic ideas on major global theoretical and practical issues, leading the world academic trend. The journal welcomes English papers that focus on exploring the theories and practices of Marxism and socialism, as well as issues related to the development of human society in the world today, as well as articles from interviews with renowned scholars, book reviews, conference reviews, and introductions to journals and academic organizations.
