This book is part of the Research Library of the History of the People's Republic of China series. It collects the author's research on China's diplomatic strategy and practice over the years, especially the relationship between China and the United States.

It also explores the significant contributions of Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai to China's territorial sovereignty and security.
