The Faculty of Asian and Middle Eastern Studies at the University of Cambridge comprises the Departments of Middle Eastern Studies and East Asian Studies. It encompasses six research areas: Chinese Studies, Japanese Studies, Korean Studies, South Asian Studies, Arabic and Persian Studies, and Hebrew Studies. The disciplines involve history, literature, anthropology, sociology, and political science.
